Students (and families), we are almost at the end. Thank you for hanging in there, especially during the challenges of the last 3 months. We have a few reminders for you:
1) Video sendoff on Thursday at 11:30am! While we cannot have an in-person recognition for you, we will have a video tribute for you that will be posted in all Google Classrooms, Positively Lindale, and PTA pages at 11:30am this Thursday. There will be a few surprises in the video.
2) June 19th is your day to come retrieve your belongings from your locker. Additionally, we will have goodie bags for you when you come to retrieve your belongings. These were purchased and put together by our PTA. Thank you to the Lindale PTA for this tremendous contribution! We will also have the Presidential Award certificates for 8th graders who met the criteria for this recognition.
3) Please see the attached letter as it relates to Friday’s pick up of your items.
4) If you have any outstanding assignments for your classes, please complete them this week!

Due to AACPS cancellation of large scale public events, we are forced to postpone our March 28th Lindale Flea Market. We can refund your payment if you feel you will be unable to reschedule with us. Please bear with us as we navigate through these unexpected circumstances and know that we are sorry that we need to cancel this event.

Monday, February 24, 2020 PTA Claire’s Gourmet Fundraiser begins!!
Please check your students book bag!!
The holidays are right around the corner so why not enjoy a delicious dessert from Claire’s Gourmet while supporting the PTA. Deliver will be Monday, April 6th, just in time for the holidays!
LMS Honor Roll Ceremony – Friday, February 21st from 8:20 am to 10:00 am in the cafeteria.
If your child made Honor Roll for the quarter, you are welcome to attend.

7th Grade 8:55 – 9:25
6th Grade 9:30 – 10:00
The PTA will be providing cookies to all the students and taking pictures to be posted on our PTA Facebook page.
*****Reminder **** we try our very best to get a picture of every child!! If your child does not want their picture taken, we will not make them!

January 26th Lindale PTA Skating Party
Lindale Middle PTA would like to invite our students to an ice-skating party at the Glen Burnie Ice Skating Rink on Sunday, January 26th from 7:15 pm to 9:15 pm. This is a free Give Back event for Lindale Middle Students.
Come join us for an evening of music, skating, snacks and fun! Because space is limited to 100 skaters, we must limit skaters to Lindale Middle STUDENTS ONLY so that as many students can participate as possible. To ensure your spot please click on the link for the Sign-Up Genius and follow the instructions. Please one student per sign up. If you have more than one Lindale Middle Student just use another slot for that student.

All students must have a parent or guardian stay on site for the event. Non-skating parents are not included in the 100 skaters limit.
The rink can remain open for snow. Please check on the Sign-Up Genius for any cancellations due to rain or other severe weather.

Tuesday, January 14th – Movies, Games and Snacks – 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Teachers will pick a game or show a movie. The kids will sign up during homeroom to attend the movie or game of
their choice. Students who want to attend will turn 10 Lynx Notes into their HOMEROOM teacher between Jan 6th – 10th.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
On Friday, January 10, 2020, students can wear PURPLE tops or a RAVEN Jersey with their uniform bottoms to celebrate PURPLE Friday. Hooded sweatshirts are not allowed. The students can wear purple collared shirts, purple t-shirts, purple crew necks, or purple quarter zip pull overs with their uniform khaki, blue, or black pants, skirts, or shorts. We are excited for the playoffs and want to celebrate our home team.
Don’t feel like cooking? Support the PTA by picking up dinner at Chick fil A in Lithicum. Our school gets a higher percentage per order by using the Chick fil A app. Make sure you enter Lindale Middle School PTA on the app or tell the cashier when you place your order!
We welcome the New Year together, with a new hope, and a blank canvas to be painted by US!

Wednesday, Dec.18th – 7:00 pm – The band students will be performing their in the auditorium at 7:00 pm. All band students should report at 6:30. The PTA will be providing pre-ordered Chick-fil-A meals beginning at 5:30 pm. Families MUST Pre-order. The PTA is asking for donations of individually packaged chips and drinks. Please consider donating.
